JTOWERとプリンスホテルが基本合意書を締結　携帯インフラシェアリング・ソリューション導入で5G等通信環境整備を促進

株式会社JTOWER（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：田中 敦史）と株式会社プリンスホテル（本社：東京都豊島区、代表取締役社長：小山 正彦)は、携帯通信環境整備のための設備設置に関して、基本合意書を締結したことをお知らせします。
本契約により、今後、プリンスホテルが運営する施設にて第5世代移動通信システム（5G）を含む携帯通信環境整備を行う場合、JTOWERの屋内インフラシェアリング・ソリューションの導入を基本方針とした対策を進めていきます。これにより、効率的な通信環境整備を促進し、5Gをはじめ、ホテル利用客の利便性向上に取り組んでまいります。

JTOWERは、これまで各携帯事業者が個別に設置していた設備をシェアリング（共用）することで、かかる作業工程やコストの低減、消費電力の削減等の効果をもたらすソリューションの提供により、効率的な電波環境整備に貢献してまいりました。
プリンスホテルは、多彩なブランドで顧客のニーズに合わせたホテル・旅館を国内外で幅広く展開しており、当締結において、まずは都内を中心とした施設で通信環境整備を進めてまいります。携帯通信設備を共用化することで、作業工数の削減、設備の簡素化、省スペース化、省電力化を実現し、効率的な通信環境整備の推進とともに、環境負荷の低減にも寄与することが期待されます。

携帯通信は人々の生活や経済活動に欠かせないインフラとなっており、今後においても5Gの普及が進み、より重要な社会基盤になっていくことが見込まれます。
JTOWERとプリンスホテルは今後の連携を強化し、社会のデジタル化とともに、持続可能な社会の実現に取り組んでまいります。

JTOWER and Prince Hotels signed the basic agreement to promote the development of 5G and other telecommunications networks by introducing Infra-Sharing solutions

We are pleased to announce that JTOWER Inc. (“JTOWER”) and Prince Hotels, Inc. (“Prince Hotels”) have signed a basic agreement on the installation of mobile communications networks.

Based on this agreement, our basic policy is to introduce JTOWER’s indoor Infra-Sharing solutions when developing mobile communications networks including 5G, at facilities operated by Prince Hotels in the future. Through these efforts, we will promote the development of an efficient telecommunications network and work to improve the convenience including 5G for hotel guests.

By sharing telecom-infrastructures that had been installed separately by individual mobile network operators, JTOWER has contributed to the development of an efficient telecommunications network by providing solutions that have the effect of reducing work processes and costs, and electricity consumptions.
Prince Hotels has been developing a wide range of hotels and inns in Japan and overseas that meet the demands of customers under a variety of brands. Through this agreement, Prince Hotels will promote the development of an efficient telecommunications network in facilities centered on the Tokyo metropolitan area as a first step.

Mobile communications have become an indispensable infrastructure for people’s lives and business activities, and it is anticipated that mobile communications will become even more important social infrastructure in the future, where 5G is expected to expand.
JTOWER and Prince Hotels will continue to strengthen collaboration and work to realize a sustainable society by responding to social digitization.
