JTOWERのベトナム子会社（SPN）による同国Thien Viet社からのIBS資産買取契約締結について

株式会社JTOWER（代表取締役社長：田中敦史、本社：東京都港区、以下「JTOWER」）の連結子会社で、ベトナムでIBS（In-Building Solution：建物内の携帯通信インフラシェアリング）事業を営むSOUTHERN STAR TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY（代表取締役会長：五十嵐聡、本社：ホーチミン市、以下「SPN」。）は、Thien Viet Company Limited（代表取締役会長：Phan Thanh Son、本社：ハノイ市、以下「TVC」。）が保有するIBS資産（関連する諸契約含む）の買取契約締結を行うことを決定しました。
　
【本件資産買取の概要】

ベトナムでは、高い経済成長に伴い携帯電話普及率は100%を超えて伸びており、携帯通信インフラの需要も継続して高まっています。その中でも、複数の携帯電話事業者に建物内の通信設備（共用設備）を貸し出すIBS市場は、携帯通信トラフィックの急増と携帯電話事業者の資産効率化ニーズを背景に急拡大していますが、今後も大型建物の開発が予定されている同国ではその拡大余地が大きいと見込まれています。
　
SPNは、2007年に設立され、ベトナムにおける主要携帯電話事業者3社との良好な関係や、質の高いオペレーション、広範な不動産事業者とのネットワークを活かすことで、対象延床面積で同国最大規模のIBS事業者となっています。SPNの導入実績としては、ベトナムにおける主要な高層オフィスビルやホテル、商業施設などがあり、そのカテゴリは多岐にわたります。
　
SPNは今後も引き続き成長が見込まれるベトナムにおけるIBS資産買取需要を取り込み、全国的なIBS事業の運営・事業基盤を更に強化するとともに、同国の通信環境改善に貢献してまいります。

JTOWER’s subsidiary in Vietnam named SPN enter into IBS Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement with Thien Viet in Vietnam

Tokyo, November 17, 2020 – JTOWER Inc. (Representative Director: Atsushi Tanaka, Headquarters: Akasaka Minato-ku Tokyo) (“JTOWER”) announces that a consolidated subsidiary of IBS (In-Building Solution: sharing solution of indoor mobile telecommunication infrastructure) business in Vietnam, SOUTHERN STAR TELECOMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY (Legal Representative: Satoshi Igarashi, Headquarters: Ho Chi Minh City) (“SPN”), has decided to enter into IBS Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement with Thien Viet Company Limited(“TVC”) on 17 November, 2020.
　
Overview of Transaction

With the steadily growing economy, Vietnam has been seeing its mobile phone penetration rise above 100% and demands for mobile telecommunication infrastructure continue to grow. In particular, the IBS market, leasing of indoor telecommunication equipment (shared equipment) to multiple mobile network operators (“MNOs”), has been expanding rapidly with the rise of the mobile network traffic and the needs of MNOs to manage their assets more efficiently, and is expected to maintain its growth as plans for major real estate development continue to increase in Vietnam.
　
Established in 2007, SPN is one of the largest IBS operators by coverage area in Vietnam. Supported by its positive relationships with all three major MNOs, high quality services and expansive network with real estate developers. SPN has installed its equipment and provided services at a variety of buildings in Vietnam, including major high-rise office buildings, hotels and commercial complexes.
　
SPN will further strengthen operations in Vietnam, where growth opportunity will be exedcuted, and will work further to expand the IBS business and improve the telecommunications environment in Vietnam.
